The Museum of the Normal at Being Human Festival Launch
On November 17th, researchers from QMUL and UCL took The Museum of the Normal to the Being Human Festival Launch where visitors got to enter the ‘land of the abnormal’: a pop-up world of activities addressing different aspects of the history of normalcy and the normative. We talked about what’s disgusting (with the opportunity to try eating insects), conducted anthropometric tests and introduced visitors to UCL’s Francis Galton collection. The full drop-in late, a special event for the Being Human Festival of Humanities, takes place on November 24th at Barts Pathology Museum 6pm-9pm. Register on Eventbrite.
