CEREES in east London Group

CEREES Research Network

The CEREES in east London Group is a Research Network that investigates the rich history of Eurasian, Russian, and East European migrant communities in the UK’s capital. This group seeks to unearth and disseminate (via the CEREES website and CEREES events) east London’s various ties and entanglements with the Eurasian region, with an initial focus on the various migrant and émigré communities that fled imperial Russia during the nineteenth century onwards.

The CEREES in east London Group Steering Committee both contributes and advises the research network on dissemination, collaboration, and co-production, with a view to highlighting the Eurasian entanglements that have shaped east London’s past and the communities surrounding Queen Mary University of London.
