The book maps the shifting political field around gender-based violence in the global south, providing new directions for transnational feminist knowledge and solidarity.

Nicky Falkof is Associate Professor of Media Studies at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

Shilpa Phadke is Professor at the School of Media and Cultural Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.

Srila Roy is Professor of Sociology at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

The seminar will be chaired bySwati Arora, Lecturer in Performance and Global South Studies at QMUL and a contributor to Intimacy and Injury.
