Book Discussion: ‘Tata’ by Mircea Raianu

The QMUL South Asia Forum is pleased to welcome Mircea Raianu for this discussion of his new book, “an eye-opening portrait of global capitalism spanning 150 years, told through the history of the Tata Corporation.” Tata: The Global Corporation that Built Indian Capitalism was published by Harvard University Press in 2021.

Mircea Raianu is Assistant Professor of History at the University of Maryland. He will be joined in conversation by Noam Maggor, Senior Lecturer in American History at Queen Mary University of London, and Amit S Rai, Reader in Creative Industries and Arts Organisation at Queen Mary University of London.
