Who We Are

The Digital Initiatives Network was formed in 2014 by Ruth Ahnert, Eyal Poleg, Chris Sparks, and Tessa Whitehouse.

Dr Ruth Ahnert (School of English and Drama)

Ruth is Senior Lecturer in Renaissance Studies in the Department of English.  Her research interests include Tudor literature and culture, the history of religion, prison writing, letters, and network theory.

Dr Pietro Panzarasa (School of Business and Management)

Pietro is Reader in Organisational Theory and Behaviour in the School of Business and Management. His research is concerned with the field of complex networks, and focuses primarily on the structure and dynamics of social interaction

Dr Eyal Poleg (School of History)

Eyal is Lecturer in History in the School of History.  His research focuses on religious history and material culture in the Middle Ages.

Dr Jaclyn Rajsic (School of English and Drama)

Jaclyn is a Lecturer in Medieval literature in the Department of English. Her research interests include genealogies, history of the book, medieval multilingualism, and the circulation of texts. She is involved in the project Crossing Borders in the Insular Middle Ages.

Dr Graham White (School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science)

Graham is a Lecturer in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. His work focuses on the problem of reasoning about human action.
