Shruti Kapila will reflect on themes related to her new book, <a href=\"https:\/\/press.princeton.edu\/books\/hardcover\/9780691195223\/violent-fraternity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>Violent Fraternity: Indian Political Thought in the Global Age <\/i><\/a>(Princeton, 2021), a groundbreaking history of the political ideas that made modern India.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Shruti Kapila<\/strong> is Associate Professor in the Faculty of History at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Corpus Christi College.
