This historical and ethnographic account of Lahore demonstrates how waste work has been central to organising and transforming urban landscapes, infrastructures and life in the city.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Waqas Butt <\/b>is Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the University of Toronto. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Julia Corwin <\/b>is Assistant Professor in Environmental Geography at the LSE. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Layli Uddin <\/b>is Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at QMUL.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This event will be chaired by <b>Majed Akhter, <\/b>Senior Lecturer in Environment and Society at KCL<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">All welcome. No registration required.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The seminar will take place in Room 3.20 of the ArtsTwo building, on QMUL&#8217;s Mile End campus.
