This work documents the challenges facing farmers in Punjab today, fifty years after new technology, seeds and pesticides revolutionised farming to establish the &#8216;food bowl of India&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sriharsha.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Harsha Vadlamani <\/b><\/a>i<\/span><span class=\"s1\">s an independent photojournalist, filmmaker and National Geographic Explorer whose work explores the inequalities that influence migration, health and the environment, with a particular focus on rural and indigenous communities in India.
