The QMUL Digital Initiatives Network (DIN) brings together scholars across QMUL who employ digital technologies in their research, or who wish to do so. We aim to facilitate and support collaborations at QMUL between scholars in the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and those who are at the cutting edge of digital computational research in the faculty of Science and Engineering. The Network is intended to be a focal point connecting these otherwise-disparate researchers, who are doing a type of highly interdisciplinary, collaborative and project-based work that involves challenges unknown to those working within more traditional disciplinary boundaries.  There is already a lot of work going on at these areas, some of which is highlighted in our Project pages. We are planning an exciting programme of activities for the 2016/17 academic year, including a seminar series, and our annual lecture.
